A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
During February 2017 the Human Resource Department and the Director for the Holland-Hope College Sustainability Institute created a plan to include sustainability in all new employee training. There is some ability to reach recent hires (from 2016-2017) retroactively, but will have a more robust program created over the summer of 2017 (the next large wave). Prior to a more formal program all new employees did receive information about: The "Walk-To-Work" Incentive Program. Details about the program can be found at: http://www.hope.edu/admin/hr/benefits/forms/wtw_brochure.pdf The reusable lunch containers that can be purchased for $5 rather than using Styrofoam at our dining halls. Hope College students also recently created a recycling video which was shared with new employees on their HR portal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_f78hJcbt4
