In Sustainability Weeks, a theme is set and announced beforehand each year so that researchers/students can organize their research, plan and apply for hosting events in line with the theme. Events in Sustainability Weeks are further categorized into Tracks, which are the breakdowns of theme". The theme for 2012 is "Proposing a model of a sustainable society".
