Two years ago a indoor air-supported sports dome was constructed to provide a year-round, safe activity space for our students to participate in intramurals, open recreation, sports clubs and athletics.
The new 64,299 sq. ft. Gearan Center for the Performing Arts, which opened in 2016, is certified LEED BD+C Gold.

We also constructed a new seating area for our dining hall that has followed LEED principles and includes elements that reflect the Colleges’ commitment to sustainability and the environment. These features include environmentally sensitive finishes (paint, carpets, flooring, wood), LED lighting for new fixtures, energy efficient equipment, trayless dining and a new dishwasher that saves both energy and water consumption.
