Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes

A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

The Pass the Plate Food Pantry, established in 2018, provides food and personal care item assistance to any member of the immediate HWS community. The pantry is open to all with no background or financial checks — only a valid HWS ID is required.

Pass the Plate is a member of The College & University Food Bank Alliance, a professional organization of campus-based programs focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger, and poverty among college and university students in the United States.

In addition, a movement called HWS Free Food has been started where members of the campus community are invited to post on social media using the hashtag #HWSfreefood when there are leftovers from an event. There is also a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/531336187702605/
