The Office of Diversity and Inclusion fosters dignity and respect ensuring that all members of the community have an equal opportunity to thrive. The office works in a number of different areas, which include: education, advocacy, and policy change. It is a new office, but so far the office has offered student workshops on issues of diversity and inclusion; campus wide opportunities for engagement, and has worked to establish the first strategic diversity plan which serves as a roadmap for the Colleges.

The Colleges offer a range of trainings for student, staff, and faculty. Most recently the following trainings have been made available: - Student Development and Identities: Implications for Teaching and Learning - Creating Inclusive Spaces for Learning: Exploring Equity Practices for Engaging All Students The office of diversity and inclusion has also offered trainings for RAs, and the incoming first year class.
