Has the institution conducted a survey or other evaluation that allows for anonymous feedback to measure employee satisfaction and engagement during the previous three years?:
Yes
Percentage of employees assessed, directly or by representative sample:
100
A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
HCC conducts the employee satisfaction survey online using Snap WebHost. Snap emails the survey invitations to emails uploaded to the system. An initial email is sent out with a link to the survey along with two reminder emails to individuals who had not recorded a response in Snap. The survey is left open for two full weeks. Employees are asked Likert-scale and open-ended questions about a variety of areas across the college.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
There isn't an official mechanism in place to address issues raised in the satisfaction survey. Full results, a research brief, a content analysis of comments, and full comments on an intranet site and the HCC Community is alerted when results are available. Survey results are used in program reviews for any college unit assessed by the survey. The responsibility for acting on results falls to individual departments.
