HCT's operation is supervised by the management and run via service providers/caterers. The services that are run by contractors/service providers include cleaning/janitorial, MEP maintenance, groundskeeping, hardscaping, and security.

The lowest pay grade is 13, meeting 48.88% of total compensation as a living wage.
Note: The average living wage percentage from the total compensation across all the pay grades is 45%.
The lowest pay grade is 13, with an average total compensation of AED 8,375/- ($ 2,275.82) (monthly) including Base Salary, Guaranteed allowances, and Health Insurance.

Living Wage, as per HR discussion with Facilities Operations, is defined as all Allowances, Benefits, Pension, and Insurance (Excluding Basic Pay).

HCT has 14 Administrative Grades and 8 Academic Grades. As per HR policies, the maximum number of eligible dependents are spouses and three (3) children. The average living wage differs from Grade to Grade. The system-wide average Living wage as of 01st Oct 2022 is AED 16,149.87/- (monthly)

All allowances are benefits comprising a living wage as part of an employee's contract.
