A brief description of how the literacy assessment was developed and/or when it was adopted:

The survey was based on external surveys used as a benchmark. The team on LSN 1113 Introduction to Sustainability adapted the question to ensure the concepts covered in the course were included. This will ensure the results can be used towards the course's ongoing development.


A brief description of how a representative sample was reached (if applicable) and how the assessment(s) were administered :

The LSN 1113 Introduction to sustainability has over 1,000 students approx. per semester. The survey would be conducted on forms sharing the links through the LSM system. (Blackboard learn).
