ASHOKA - HEC Montréal has a strong collaboration with Ashoka and is the first French-speaking campus to receive AshokaU changemaker campus designation. Over the years, HEC Montréal developed a very strong bond with multiple Canadian and international organizations. HEC’s collaboration includes:

HEC Montréal is presenting the annual MBA Sustainability Case Competition. IDEOS usually write and provide the main case the MBA teams from various university will have to crack.

Few exemples among many : Johanne Turbide, Professor, Department of Accounting Studies, is a board member of both Institut EDDEC (Institut de l’environnement, du développement durable et de l’économie circulaire) and ACFAS (Association francophone pour le savoir) Pierre-Olivier Pineau, Professor, Department of Decision Sciences, is Member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association for Energy Economics (CAEE) since 2007. President of the CAEE since 2012. Olivier Bahn, Professor, Department of Decision Sciences, is the Co-director, Hub Expertise in Energy and Environment (e3 Hub)

A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:

The Institut EDDEC mission includes “knowledge sharing” between its 3 founding universities (HEC Montréal, Université de Montréal and Polytechnique Montréal). This program encourage professors to exchange time between the classes to bring their respective knowledge in sustainability classes and lectures.
