The program was launched in 2016 and, following its success, is renewed every year with the neighbouring school. During few days, elementary school groups are invited to HEC Montréal to discover and learn about the concept of permaculture in urban area, and are welcomed by business students volunteers. The partnership was developed to educate younger student to the concept of permaculture in urban area, especially how we can make our immediate environment more durable using a systemic approach.
