During July 2017, the direction of sustainable development publishes more than twenty posters inviting customers to bring a gourd at the building to use water dispenser installed on the water fountain instead of buying disposable water bottles. There are also multiple signage through the building and the food court to help users to sort their waste and use the proper bins.

Every ustensils used by COOP HEC Montréal have a pastille which give information to customers if the object are biodegradable or recyclable. Also, complete ingredients of the daily menu are provided to food court customers. Moreover, signage are use Mondays to promote meat free dinner and Wednesday to promote local ingredient gourmet menu.
