Procedures are in place to 1) eliminate any new connections to existing storm drain system; instead route storm water to cisterns or rain gardens, 2) require new paved areas be handled with permeable pavers or alternative methods that do not create additional storm loads, and 3) utilize strategic plan to eliminate/retrofit existing parking lots/storm water drains using storm water best management practices.
