In support of the campus Sustainable Development Policy (3.33), Paper, paper products, and other related paper consumables purchased for use on campus should have the following attributes, which are listed in order of importance. 1.Paper should come from a manufacturer that documents source materials come from a certified sustainably managed forest. 2.Paper should have the highest level of recycled/recovered fiber content possible for intended use. 3.Paper should come from vendors that have documented sustainable business practices and commitments. The Print Shop, Purchasing Department, and Sustainability Coordinator will decide as a team which paper product will be the most sustainable for HCC while still meeting all State Procurement Guidelines. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
