A brief description of the technology used:
Light sensors are located in the Natural Science Building (300). They reduce the amount of energy used when students are not in the classroom or lab which equals a few hours a day. This savings adds up over time.
We have also added light or occupancy sensors in our new 3500 building and soon to be opened Creative Arts Building.
