A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive experience(s) offered by the institution:
The Low Impact Development Program requires students to asses the sustainable status of campus, the local towns, and surrounding region. Upon completion the class presents best practices to the college which will then be considered for implementation by the Sustainability Committee.
Another example is our Foresty program which acts a steward to over 300 local acres of forest. The students receive real world training in the field through labs and lectures.
