A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

A sustainable campus coalition was developed among universities in Hawai`i to promote a sharing of ideas between universities, and to provide individuals with the resources to further sustainability initiatives on their respective campuses. The first meeting of this coalition was arranged on December 4th, 2010 at the BYU Hawai`i campus. Sustainability representatives from HPU, UH, Chaminade University, BYU-H, Blue Planet Foundation, Hawai’i Clean Energy Initiative (HCEI) and Kokua Hawai`i Foundation were in attendance. The second meeting was held on HPU's Hawai`i Loa Campus in the Spring of 2011.
