A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:

Any occupant complaints regarding indoor air quality are directed to Steve Hendricks (Hawaii Loa Campus facilities manager) and Rap Craig (downtown campus facilities manager). These complaints are looked into, and professional air quality tests are then performed if necessary. Indoor environmental quality evaluations have been performed in various buildings in 2010, 2008, 2006, and 2003 by Bureau Veritas North America, Inc. Also, a brand new cooling system was installed in HPU's main academic building as well as better air filters which will result in better indoor air quality.
