The Council on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CODEI) is comprised of practitioners of diversity, equity, and inclusion work across campus, and aims to increase the positive impacts of ongoing and future DEI progress by knitting together efforts that are currently dispersed. CODEI aims to maximize institutional support toward positive, effective structural changes that will promote full inclusion and belonging for all members of the Haverford community.

The institution periodically offers diversity training to heighten awareness of different cultures, different approaches to productivity across cultures and respect for individual expressionism. Students all participate in the Customs program, which includes small group discussions on topics including race, gender, and class.
