A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
The Committee for Environmental Responsibility runs a Bike Share Program. The group has an inventory of 53 bikes as well as safety equipment and locks which are lent out to students every semester. The group also holds workshops to teach students about bike maitanance and bike routes in the area and a weekly drop in session during which students can bring in their bikes for repairs.

A brief description of the incentives for fuel efficient vehicles:
Students and staff with fuel efficient vehicles get a 50% discount on parking permits for oncampus parking. There are also EV charging stations.
Does the institution have one or more Level 2 or Level 3 electric vehicle recharging stations that are accessible to student and employee commuters?:
The college has 10 Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) Chargers in four campus locations and are intended for use by community members, as well as campus visitors and guests. The ports are maintained and operated by Flo, a nationwide charging network. Each charger costs $1.00/per hour to use, and generated revenue will be applied towards the cost of utility service and annual maintenance.
Does the institution have incentives or programs to encourage employees to live close to campus?:
Currently the college provides rental properties on campus for faculty. 40 percent of faculty live on campus. The college also provides the following mortgage program. The mortgage aspect of the Faculty Housing Policy is an important buttress to the larger rental program. It encourages tenure-line and Continuing Appointment faculty who find College housing inappropriate for their families and who wish to own their own homes to locate near the College.

Haverford offers students free SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) passes for one-time events that relate to civic or cultural engagement in the city. Additionally the Commitee for Environmental Responsibility's Bike Share program encourages sustainable modes of transport amoung students.
