The number above was obtained through the sustainability literacy and culture survey conducted on campus in spring 2024. Employees were asked how frequently they used particular modes of transportation. Out of the 158 employees that answered the survey, 119 reported that they consistently commute using the same mode of transportation, so that was used as the denominator for this calculation.

Ninety six percent of students live on campus. While sophmores, juniors and seniors are allowed to have cars, primary transportation for students getting to class and dining center is either by foot or bicycle.
