Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Haverford Student Loan Debt Relief Program
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Haverford Student Loan Debt Relief Program is designed to assist students for whom debt from student loans would prove to be a genuine burden, such as for those who choose careers of high societal value but low remuneration or who are temporarily unemployed. It is a structure we have not seen at any peer institution whereby we provide dollars generated from philanthropic gifts to offset students' loan payments for a period of time after graduation.
