The fund is designed to assist students, faculty, and staff in raising environmental awareness and enhancing environmental practices at Haverford College. The scope of the Fund is broad, and includes (but is not limited to):
Applicant-run projects on campus
Other on-campus events, such as speakers or performers
Support to attend local conferences, workshops, and events

A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:
The Committee for Environmental Responsibility, which includes students and staff from various departments, makes decisions regarding approval of projects. Most recently the committee approved a grant for the Haverfarm's High Tunnel project.
