A brief description of any policies and programs to minimize the cost of attendance for low-income students:
Haverford is one of the few colleges which has made a commitment to improve accessibility by eliminating loans from our need-base aid packages. Currently, we have approval to continue this policy through the class of 2015. In addition to the information on eliminating loans, Haverford is one of the few colleges admittings students without regard to need (need-blind admission), meeting the full need of students, and awarding all aid based solely on need.
