A brief description of the student-managed SRI fund:
Yes, CISR has four student members and is open to any student who would like to attend the CISR meetings. While the portfolio is CISR-run, not specifically student-run, students involved with CISR gain exposure to the CISR portfolio and the proxy-voting and shareholder resolution process. Students review shareholder resolutions and recommend to CISR and College administration how to vote on proxies. Students also gain experience through the sustainability seminars offered through our CPGC as discussed in the answer to question (2).
The CISR-managed portfolio currently consists of 8 stocks: Apple, Chevron, DuPont, ExxonMobil, GE, McDonalds, Tyson Foods, Wal-Mart.
