Haverford does not participate in the TRIO Programs.

Haverford is one of the few colleges which has made a commitment to improve accessibility by eliminating loans from our need-base aid packages. Currently, we have approval to continue this policy through the class of 2015. In addition to the information on eliminating loans, Haverford is one of the few colleges admittings students without regard to need (need-blind admission), meeting the full need of students, and awarding all aid based solely on need.

Since all aid is need-based and we meet full need, aid is distributed to students based solely on need without the students having to meet the requirement of specific endowed scholarship funds like grade point average, ethnicity, participation in certain activities, etc.
