The college does not have designated, secure bicycle storage for commuters. There are, however, bike racks adjacent to nearly all buildings on campus.

Does the institution provide short-term bicycle parking for all occupied buildings and makes long-term bicycle storage available for students who live on-site (if applicable)?:

A brief description of the bicycle parking and storage facilities:
There are bicycle racks and skateboard racks available adjacent to, or inside, every building on campus. Students who live on-site are welcome to keep their bicycles in their rooms, or may use bicycle racks outside of their residence halls.

Yes

A brief description of the bicycle and pedestrian plan or policy:
Harvey Mudd College does not have a written or explicit bicycle/pedestrian plan or policy, but there are de facto community standards and practices in regards to bicycle use and pedestrian safety. For instance, there are designated "No Wheels" Zones in high traffic areas on campus to prevent collisions.

Yes

As of spring 2018, the Claremont Colleges teamed up with local bus operator Foothill Transit to provide free class passes for students, faculty, and staff. These allow for free rides on all Foothill Transit bus routes.

Harvey Mudd College offers a Rideshare Incentives program that is available for faculty, staff, and students working on campus. They are eligible to receive $2.00 added to their paychecks for each day they report using alternative transportation to get to work (e.g., carpool, walk, bike, or public transit).

Harvey Mudd College has an EV recharging station available in the northwest parking lot on campus. The station is a dual port ChargePoint system that can charge two vehicles simultaneously using J1772 connectors.
