Total percentage of students (graduate and undergraduate) that use more sustainable commuting options as their primary means of transportation:
100
A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
A representative sample was taken from a survey conducted during the week of April 3-7, 2017. The survey was an online form conducted to survey 226 student employees who reported to work that week. The response rate was 85%, or 191 employees. This week was selected as a conventional workweek during the school year for students. Since most students live on campus (above 90%), we conduct surveys specifically for student employees.
