A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s), including information to support each affirmative response above :

The Office of Health and Wellness on campus, as well as the Monsour offices (medical) for all of the Claremont Colleges, have multiple wellness programs that make counseling, referral, and wellbeing services available to all students.

The Optum Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential service designed to help employees and their household members resolve personal and workplace challenges. Offering round-the-clock access to personal assessment and counseling with licensed/certified therapists at no charge, the EAP keeps all calls, emails, referrals and conversations strictly confidential (as required by law).

The program helps with a variety of issues, including stress and depression, domestic abuse, grief, work issues, parenting and childcare, education, legal assistance, money management, substance abuse and recovery, eating disorders and resources for seniors.
