In keeping with the College’s strategic vision to embrace sustainability, Harvey Mudd College uses green infrastructure to manage rainwater on a case-by-case basis. For instance, Drinkward Residence Hall was recognized for stormwater collection and recharging of ground water, yielding a 50 percent reduction in landscape water use and a 48 percent reduction in building water use.
