The President of Harvey Mudd College, Maria Klawe, signed onto a Letter from Higher Education Leaders on Climate Action. The letter was a plea to the federal administration and to Congress to reconsider President Trump's decision to withdraw U.S. participation from the Paris Climate Agreement, to support research efforts at academic institutions and federal agencies to ensure that national climate, energy, and security policies were based on leading scientific and technical research, as well as to support investments into a low carbon economy.
