The College Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) is organized to support and advance college-wide goals of a diverse, equal, and inclusive community for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The DEIC is structured to serve both as a forum and catalyst for new and ongoing programs and initiatives throughout the college, our campuses and our disciplines.

The work and aims of the DEIC will be guided by relevant college policies and procedures including College Policy 005: Equal Employment/Educational Opportunity and College Policy 007: College Diversity Statement.

Furthermore, the DEIC will advance the college’s commitment to maintaining compliance with Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Act of 1974, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination Employment Act of 1967, the Equal Pay Act of 1963, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. All of these provisions are designed to prevent discrimination in various forms.
