Non-operable electronics are collected and stored according to state regulations, and sent to the local solid waste authority recycling center.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:

HACC offers employees and students the opportunity to purchase computers that are being replaced, as part of the campus recycling program.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for student-generated materials :

An electronics recycling event is held each year encouraging staff and students to bring in computers, phones, VCRs, cameras, scanners, speakers, TVs, remotes, etc. to be recycled.
