A brief description of the program:
HACC offers a telecommuting option on an as need basis. The work is performed at an off-campus location such as the employee’s home or location other than the normally assigned workplace. Communication may be by various means, such as telephone, internet, or fax. Telecommuting approval is at the convenience and sole discretion of the College and reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If telecommuting is determined to be feasible, a Telecommuting Agreement is written and signed by the employee and the employee’s supervisor and submitted to their Cabinet-level Supervisor for approval. The Cabinet-level Supervisor will consult with Information Technology Services (ITS) to determine technical/computing needs, cost of equipment and feasibility. Final approval for telecommuting is granted by the Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development.
