All Institutional academic and administrative computers are purchased or leased via collaborative effort between Information Technology and Procurement. Specifications are defined with E80Plus Gold power supply as the standard and verification must be submitted with evaluation equipment during the submission phase. The model and manufacturer were then cross checked through the Energy Star web site. Those manufacturer’s who cannot substantiate or verify machines are built with EPEAT Gold Standards are not considered or allowed to participate in the reverse auction.
