A brief description of the sustainable food and beverage purchasing program:
At the Harrisburg Campus, the Wildwood Conference Center food and beverages are purchased and prepared to fulfill the daily meal and break needs of the center. The food is mainly purchased from local wholesale distributors, grocery stores, and buying clubs. At present, less than 1% of the value of purchases are certified as grown within a 250 mile radius of the College and < 1% are third-party certified as organic or fair trade. Coffee used at the center is "fair trade".
