This entails basic trail maintenance and otherwise this is a natural landscape area of hills and valleys that include steep ravines. We do have regular trash pick ups.

The college selects landscaping plants that are native to Indiana.

Our approach to water use is to plant according to the local climate so that we do not need to water them. We do water our athletic fields.
Our community garden does institute large rain barrels to supplement water sources.

We collect sticks on campus and shred them as mulch for our trails.

We have a landscape architect that has chosen plants that are suited to the climate so they do not need intervention. We do have some natural wind breaks and larger trees that shade buildings.

We have no mow areas that we are experimenting with in 2022. We blow instead of chop leaves.
