All buildings are maintained with industry best practices. In 2012 all campus facilities were audited using ASHRAE Level II energy auditing standards. These reports resulted in a compilation of energy conservation measures that the college has implemented over time. All departments are trained and versed in sustainable operations strategies such as green cleaning, water saving technology, HVAC strategies, etc.

All building energy use is recorded and monitored by a dedicated Energy Manager to identify anomalies in energy usage and prompt investigation for known energy waste. Our purchasing methodology incorporates a life cycle costing model used to weigh the initial cost versus life time performance and energy costs.
