The sustainability director offers sustainability tours to all new employees to share how the sustainability mission of the College is played out through various aspects of the College. This tour covers environmental initiatives including the schools renewable energy projects, waste reduction efforts, and sustainable transportation options. Social sustainability initiatives that are covered on the tour include the joint town and college efforts to promote community engagement through Poutlney 2020 and community service. Economic sustainability topics covered on the tour include the College's divestment of fossil fuels and funding mechanisms for sustainability projects on campus. In addition, services and resources available to employees are shared including biking incentive reimbursement, CSA membership, the community income equity fund, Poultney 2020, and heath and wellness initiatives.
