Has the institution conducted a survey or other evaluation that allows for anonymous feedback to measure employee satisfaction and engagement during the previous three years?:
Yes

Percentage of employees assessed, directly or by representative sample:
100

A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
The myGVSU survey solicits input from employees and students to learn what they think about the campus climate. The survey reveals what it is like to learn, live, and work at GVSU and to offer ideas that could be instituted campus wide to make GVSU an even better place than it already is. Students, faculty, and staff members voice their opinions, safely and anonymously via an online or paper process.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
Campus climate data informs university planning and initiatives. Actions are supported by campus climate action team recommendations and identified trends from discussions, focus groups, and confidential communication feedback. The Division of Inclusion and Equity is available upon request to assist departments and committees in developing strategic actions that respond to the results of the survey. Additionally, departments and committees should share actions/initiatives informed by the data. A list of actions can be found here: https://www.gvsu.edu/mygvsu/data-driven-10.htm
