A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):

The Campus Sustainability Advisory Council is comprised of faculty and staff members from across campus. The group meets regularly to discuss sustainability initiatives and is responsible for bringing this information, and tips on sustainable best practices, back to their colleagues. CSAC Members are official departmental contacts for the Office of Sustainability Practices and they act as advocates in their departments. Presenters join meetings to educate council members on sustainability-related opportunities to share with their colleagues. In the past, we have covered topics such as bee education, research, and protection, hosting zero waste events, and strategies for office waste reduction. We have also worked together to create a "Sustainability Opportunities" brochure to be shared across campus.
