A brief description of the plan:
A draft master plan of non-vehicular access. Plan evaluates possible future routes to establish safe pedestrian and bike ways internal to campus, linkage to future pedestrian and bike ways off campus, especially to the west of campus linking to off campus housing and future county bike ways, and locations of “hubs” located at key points across campus for sheltered and secure bike “parking”.
Currently on GVSU Blackboard site and used as reference for the Parking and Transportation Committee. This Committee, assembled by the Vice President for Business & Finance, consists of representatives from Facilities Planning & Services, Public Safety, Pew Campus Operations, Housing, Student Services, Faculty, Admissions, and Student Senate.
