A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
The fREeCYCLE Program at GVSU (conceived in 2011, implemented in 2012) aims to collect donations from the community and keep them on campus for other students who might need them. Essentially, there are two benefits: The non-perishable food items go to the Student Food Pantry and the Household and Kitchen Items get donated to the incoming International Students, which saves them from having to buy new.
