A brief description of the garden:
A 1 acre community garden was started as a class project in 2008 to encourage sustainable agriculture using organic practices. The operation is coordinated by our Sustainable Community Development Initiative and run by a part time operations manager, students in the Student Environmental Coalition, and support from interdisciplinary class projects. This year the garden will expand and form a CSA with support from the new student organized Farm Club.
