A brief description of the student group:
We have several student groups focusing on sustainability. The Student Environmental Coalition focuses on eliminating plastic water bottles from campus, and the GV Humane Society has led a movement to support cage free eggs. In addition to student groups, the Student Senate has also established a Sustainability Sub-committee (http://www.gvsu.edu/studentsenate/index.cfm?id=34069591-943D-936B-07AA80B2012FAFE5). A Student Sustainability Partnership has also been formed to encourage collaboration of the sustainable organizations.
