A brief description of the institution’s workplace health and safety initiatives:
Goucher College is committed to promoting a safe work environment for all employees. To that end, the college intends to comply with all applicable federal and state regulations relating to safety in the workplace. Employees are also expected to familiarize themselves with various policies and safety handbooks and participate in applicable safety trainings to ensure they can perform their job duties in a safe manner. Employees are encouraged to address questions or safety concerns to their supervisors. Our website allows individuals to report safety concerns, and also has policies available for viewing. In addition, a risk management committee meets regularly.
