The rates includes gas, maintenance, insurance, reserved parking, and roadside assistance. Goucher College policies and procedures apply to and are followed by the telecommuter unless otherwise specifically agreed upon by the supervisor. Telecommuters have regularly scheduled work hours agreed upon with their supervisors. The employee exercises reasonable care while telecommuting and manages personal responsibilities in a way that does not interfere with the successful completion of job responsibilities. Telecommuters who work at home provide a designated works pace that is adequate to perform employment duties. The work space is agreed to by the college, maintained by the employee, and is subject to supervisor visits, upon request, to ensure that safe work conditions exist and that college equipment is properly maintained. Telecommuters may be provided with telecommuting equipment (e.g., computer modem, printer, telephone access line), as agreed between the supervisor/department and the employee. Telecommuters use reasonable care to protect any equipment provided by the college and use it only for work purposes. Such equipment, along with any work-related files and other materials, remains the property of Goucher College and is returned to the college upon termination of employment.
