The college encourages the use of various programs to improve outdoor air quality from mobile sources. These include a partnership with Zipcar, our "blue bike" bike-sharing program, and a car pool sign-up. Flex-fuel technology is in use with some of the vehicles in the college's fleet.

Goucher uses primarily efficient natural gas. Also, when outdated equipment is replaced, the most efficient equipment available is purchased.
