Internal competitive grants are available for faculty. The college has recently received grants from the Andrew Mellon Foundation and the Martha Cargill Foundation to support, among other projects, faculty research in sustainability. Professors Cynthia Kicklighter, Birthe Kjellerup, German Mora, Gina Shamshak, and postdoctoral fellows along with their undergraduate students have presented the outcomes of their research at regional and national conferences and in refereed journals.
