There are campus clubs such as the Latino Student Union Club and the Black Student Union Club which provide social and emotional support for under-represented groups on campus. In addition, an International Student Club exists for the same purposes for international students. There are multiple counseling and academic support programs geared specifically to underrepresented groups on campus.


A brief description of the programs sponsored by the institution to support under-represented groups within the faculty:

New faculty are paired with more experienced faculty as mentors, with specific attention to cultural distinctives.

All faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in activity Diversity Circle conversations and programs, and a variety of culturally distinctive educational and social activities are available, including Gospel-N-Harmony Choir, Mosaic, Hispanic Day, etc.
