Gonzaga's buildings are heated to 70 degrees while occupied, 65 unoccupied. Buildings are cooled to 74 degrees when occupied.


A brief description of Light Emitting Diode (LED) lighting and other energy-efficient lighting strategies employed by the institution:

Campus pathway and building flood lighting is, or has been converted to LED bulbs as well as all "Exit" signs, display lighting, and ceiling lighting.

South and west facing windows provide passive solar heating to classrooms and offices during winter.

The Recommissioned School of Ed. School of Law, Foley Library, and the Biology/Chemistry Building.
